The difference between Hot Melt and Acrylic Tape
- Hot Melt Tape is quiet with easy unwind. It adheres well in a variety of temperatures.
- Acrylic Tape is extremely clear and is non yellowing. This tape works well in low temperatures.
Many specialty tapes are available.
Blown versus Cast Stretchfilm
- Blown film is puncture resistant. It has a noisy unwind with low clarity. The strength of this film makes it a strong choice for those loads being wrapped by hand.
- Cast Film is extremely clear, quiet and tear resistant. It has less puncture resistance. This film, due to consistent thickness, is more suited for high speed equipment.
